"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory that is to be revealed to us." So many of us across the country and beyond are praying earnestly for our brother Adam Smelser, who is believed to have drowned during yesterday's storm in a river near his home in Bowling Green, KY. Our hearts are heavy, but we cling to the comfort of our Lord and our brethren. More than fifty of us at FC are going barefoot today in his memory. This is a picture taken after chapel as we praised the Lord for his godly life, and even as we wept and hoped against hope, we find peace knowing that if he has passed on, he is in a far better place.
Please pray for his family and friends. We are heartbroken by this tragedy.
