Emergency prayer meeting till 12am this morning, breakfast at 6:50, orientation from 8am to 3:45pm (no breaks except running back and forth to lunch!), music theory placement exam at 4, aural theory placement exam at 4:30, get caught in a downpour of a thunderstorm, run all the way from Hailey-King to Sutton barefoot since mei sandals were hindering mei headlong charge over hill and dale, hang up wet clothes on mei bunk because Michael hasn't given me the drying rack yet, change into dry clothes, make a tea, and settle in for a nice relaxing evening while everyone else is off at a skating party.....
So, yes... being a Suttonite Falcon is pretty amazing!

St. Charles
So... this is what happens when you set Sarah loose through the streets of St. Charles for 4 hours with $5 in her pockets. Mighty dangerous, wouldn't'cha say?!

SCHEDULE!!!!
After a one-hour conference call with Mr. Barlar, I finally have my complete schedule for this semester! Looks good... 6am is a little early to be scooting off to a class, but I guess I'll manage! Also the class labelled "12am" (Piano Ensemble) is really TBD; they were just stuck in there for convenience. Recital / Concert Attendance is whenever I can fit it in - 10 concerts a semester. (How harsh, right?!) My private piano lessons will be added when they figure out a good slot to put me in. Until then, I count the days! *smile*

Dog for a Day
Mom was scared when she saw a strange, wolf-like creature at our front door, but I was overjoyed! We didn't know where he had come from; I guessed he must have been the neighbor's new puppy that mei daed had mentioned a few days ago. Attached to his collar was a five inch piece of whatever had kept him tied up. Probably a run of some sort. We took him back to the neighbor's, but no one was home, so we left a note on the door and came back. It was super fun... ooh, I miss wrestling with a little dog! He liked me quite a bit; he kept wanting to sit in mei lap and chew on mei hand. About an hour later, the neighbor came over... except he told us that it wasn't his dog! His was a lab, and he guessed this one was a Corgi - Australian Shepherd mix about three years old. Finally, when Daddy got home, he took the cute little guy up the street to inquire if anyone had lost a dog. Sure enough, someone two houses up had. I'm glad he's home again, but I surely did enjoy his visit!!!
