Happy Memorial Day, folks! Today, to celebrate, we went on a bike ride with the Robbins, the Taylors, the Polks, Jessica, and the Reeves. All in all (counting the extra trip to Dunkin) Dad estimates that we rode about 20 miles. (Not as good as the 30 I was expecting, but by the end of the trip I was ready to be done! *smile* I think I pulled a muscle in mei knee or something... it refuses to crack! Very annoying.) On the left is a picture of the group at the beginning - later in the trip the Reeves joined us and the Taylors left us.We had a lot of fun biking, and when we reached the "turn-around-point", we climbed (more like skidded!) down the hill, peeled off our socks and shoes, and went wading in the Blackstone. That was so refreshing! (A passing fisherman warned Benjamin that crocodiles swam there too. Anaja was sufficiently petrified!) 
We took a "secret road" - 2 miles up a steep hill - to get to Dunkin Donuts. In the end, though, I think most of us bought ice cream from the next door Baskin Robbins instead. It was a gut break, seeing as it was air conditioned. (Yes, this is coming from me, who despises "fake air".) After the trip was over, we went to the Robbins' house for a cookout. As you can see in the picture on the right, we were pretty exhausted! Well, anyway, that was what happened today... very fun and very tiring!
