- Happiness is watching my cousin Lizzie standing up in church "singing" right along with the rest of us from an upside down hymnbook.
- Happiness is having someone feel comfortable enough to offer you peanut butter sandwiches and ramen soup as you brew a mug of tea in the microwave.
- Happiness is seeing four little girls wearing dresses I used to wear, and knowing how blessed we all are to have Christian homes.
- Happiness is playing a sonatina double-fast while wearing gloves.
- Happiness is singing "Amazing Grace" with brethren you love.
- Happiness is watching a roomful of people try to act zealous.
- Happiness is finding an extra pair of black stockings tucked away in a drawer.
- Happiness is holding a newborn baby and laughing at the faces he makes.
- Happiness is reading Psalms and realizing that His mercies are new every morning.
- Happiness is being able to count my blessings after being a bit down tonight, and realizing just how much I have to be grateful for.
Happiness is knowing that you will see your peach fuzz in a few weeks!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are able to count your blessings, it really is a helpful thing to do when you feel down. I have had many days like that and I just try to think about people in the Bible and draw strength from them. I know that's hard to do sometimes.

THAT is definitely a happiness! I can hardly wait; hopefully we'll get to spend a bit with y'all before you head back to Missouri!
