Mrs. Jody Tosti taught me this trick a long time ago. She takes a white cake mix, follows the directions like usual, then adds whatever flavor of dry packaged jello she wants! This one was lime, simply because twas the only one we had. She calls it "pastel cake". Imagine multiple layers...!
WOW! 6 layers... that must have been wild-looking! I thought it tasted really good, but Hannah said it was a little too sweet. (Surprising for a lime cake!) The frosting was actually the very first kind I ever made from scratch about five or six years ago... it tastes kind of like marshmallow!
