Blackmail.

Ladies and gentlemen! Presenting the latest blackmail video: designed specifically for the purpose of terrifying all seven Craig sisters, but out of the goodness of my heart I'll also share it with you! Prepare to be terrified. The worst is yet to come.

A few responses: "Oh, so this is what happens in the girls' dorm.... you girls make the guys look sane!" --- "For our safety, she probably didn't even post the crazier stuff. I shiver in horror to think what that might be." --- "This reminds me of how blessed I am!" :)

Winter Sunday Mornings

It's a gorgeous Sunday morning! Everywhere outside it looks like the Lord has indeed "spread the snow like wool", Psalm 147:16. Assembly has been delayed until eleven, but we are blessed to able to meet at all with the weather as it was. It's interesting to me how winter is at the same time both breathtakingly beautiful and life-threateningly hazardous, with its black ice and blizzards. I think maybe that's what adds some of the thrill.

For supper we get to spend time with brethren! It's definitely interesting seeing the differences in my Florida congregation and the one up here. Pretty eye-opening to contrast and compare, noting each one's respective strengths and weaknesses, and even just the different "traditions" each one clings to.

But back to snow. Stay safe, everyone, and enjoy this day that the Lord has made!

Home Again, Home Again

Before beginning this post, I would like to give an affectionate shout-out to Nora T., thanking her for all that she does and is and will become. Amen. This is the RI post as requested.

It's raining. If it were a little colder, it'd be a blizzard! Happy DAY! But there's something distinctly relaxing about rain, especially when you're looking out at it from inside a warm house that smells like challah, chai, and peanut butter cookies! Rainstorms here are different than the ones in Florida... down there it will downpour for anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour. It'll thunder and rage and soak everything, then stop as suddenly as it starts. Tis pretty neat, but I like the more "subdued" New England versions that last for days on end. Oh, and didja know that Florida has purple lightning? It's the most bizarre thing! Something about the electrically charged air...? It really weirded me out at first!

Tomorrow we're headed off to the Berkshires. It sounds wunnerlich to say we're vacationing in MA, but so we are! Lots of packing, cooking, cleaning, etc. to get done, so I'll end this here. PS: I hope it snows!!!!!!

Recital

These are some videos of my first public performances at FC! Tonight's departmental recital went very well, I think... despite the fact that it was 2 HOURS AND 15 MINUTES LONG!!!! Crazy!!!  The video only has my trio and my duet with Sharon, since my solo (Mendelssohn's "Consolation") was cut off by my crazy camera.

Special thanks to the non-participating audience for sitting through the whole thing! We appreciate y'all's support!  :)
